I am a dedicated and disciplined student currently working towards Distinctions across three diverse disciplines. I am really committed to building a career in Construction Management, as it suits my interest in combining what I learn academically with hands on experience on site. I'm keen to take initiative and start gaining experience early in the industry.

I independently secured a 4-day shadowing placement with a Construction Manager in the February 2026 half-term. I also had industry exposure at the Belfour Beatty – Junction 10 Project (Afternoon Visit). I am keen to apply the teamwork, leadership and problem-solving skills I've developed through my studies in Law, Uniformed Services, and Sport in a construction environment.

• Focus Areas: Observed daily management, trade coordination, met the Quantity Surveyor; observed Site Safety procedures, planning and workflow management. and the practical application of project timelines and budgets over the 4-day period. I observed how Site teams coordinate and had the opportunity to shadow the Site Manager for the 4 days on Site and interact with workers. This only confirmed my interest in pursuing a career in construction.
