I was born and raised in South Carolina. I am a new transplant to Birmingham, Alabama. I have worked in healthcare settings since 2017, after graduating high school. I attended Liberty University and studied Health Sciences, as well as Psychology.
I am knowledgeable in medical terminology, operating medical equipment, EPIC, and HIPAA regulations. I have completed a nursing assistant course. I have experience with Med-Surge, ICU, PRICU, and ER. I don’t hold a current BLS certification, but I am able to obtain one.
Environmental Services Technician II - I was responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards of the Emergency Department. I also was responsible for ensuring the safety protocols were followed as well. I would engage with patients while performing the necessary hygiene and housekeeping duties needed. I have experience emptying bedside commodes, as well as Pure Wic canisters. I am extremely experienced with handling precaution rooms and contact rooms.
