Send a job offer directly to this candidate
I am a recent graduate from the University of Plymouth, with a BA (Hons) in Architecture and first-class honours in my dissertation. From both previous and more recent experiences, I have developed a keen eye for detail, skills in using various software, and critical thinking skills. I am currently looking for a part 1 architectural assistant job, to have more confidence and a more professional approach towards the design process.
Year 10 Virtual Work Experience at Halliday Fraser Munro (2020-08 – 2020-08)
Virtual work experience for Halliday Fraser Munro initially sparked my interest in architecture. I learned the basics of SketchUp and progressed my drawing skills to communicate my ideas. Firstly, I followed a set of instructions to design a building from a CAD plan. I then researched a celebrity whom I admired to design a house for them; the final PowerPoint presentation included information about the celebrity, a brief for the house, my final sketches and SketchUp designs.
Participant, NCS Summer Programme at NCS (2021-08 – 2021-08)
Before I started college, I had participated in my local NCS programme for 2 weeks; coming up with a t-shirt brand, visiting an outdoor activities centre, going on a scavenger hunt around the city, and selling baked goods for a chosen charity. Reflecting on this experience, I benefitted from making new friends and exploring my local community - challenging myself, communicating with others, and gaining a greater sense of independence.
Part-time Sales Team Member at Clarks (2022-06 – 2023-01)
Working in retail helped me adapt to a varied and fast-paced environment; my training had coincided with helping customers, packaging orders, and replenishing shelves. Consequently, I learned about the styles and technologies of different shoes. I used my product knowledge to confidently communicate with customers and my colleagues to reach successful outcomes.
Volunteer at Precious Plastic Plymouth (2026-02 – 2026-03)
While investigating the process of recycling common waste plastics (i.e., PET, HDPE, and PLA), material studies were conducted to assess its life cycle and material properties. In collaboration with the NGO Precious Plastic Plymouth, my group and I followed a more efficient process of repurposing post-consumer waste: they were better equipped for prototyping facades and aggregates. In addition to the recycled plastics workshop with Precious Plastic Plymouth, the 'Vision for the Future' event (11.03.2026) also featured a skateboard making workshop with Skate to The Max and a flax workshop with Flax Project CIC.
This was a Nudge Community Builders event, helping teach sustainable living practices to children from Take A Part Plymouth NGO.
