Procurement and Contracts at JOHNSON MATTHEY (2018-08 – Present)
Supporting the one JM capex team in delivering Procurement packages on schedule and within budget.
- New Supplier Engagement campaign – across all disciplines, involved three core stages: sourcing; introductions via teams and site visits. Successfully onboarded key Contractors to work across PGMS at Royston and Brimsdown sites.
- Tendering and Bid Evaluation – conducting competitive bids via ITTs and RFQs via Coupa. First POC for supplier technical and commercial queries. Ensuring all necessary documents (SOW, drawings, Pricelist, standards and Form of Contract etc) are complete and attached.
- Chair Procurement scrums for critical path packages.
- Contract Negotiation – NEC4, Equipment Supply and Install, Equipment Supply and Framework Agreements.
- Category Management and Supplier Management – Rolled out Framework Agreements under all categories, ensuring the 60 day EOM T&Cs are accepted and Bonus/Volume rebates are agreed.
- Budget and cost control – Supporting PMs in forecasting spend and securing cost savings. Reviewing and actioning valuations.
- Raising all orders as per agreed milestones/deliverables/Contracts via Ariba, SAP and Coupa. Reviewing the long forms for technical, cost and procurement approval.
- Invoicing – Resolving parked invoices with PMs, verifying deliverables have been met, or items have been received and checked by engineers, ensure we have proof when accruing progress of major equipment, design deliverables and MDRs.
- Contractor Resource allocation meetings – Prioritize workload for incumbent Contactors to ensure critical path Work is completed to schedule.
- Rolling out Procurement processes to group procurement including the MPP, ITTs, EOIs RFQs, TBE/CBEs and Long form.
Project Controls at JOHNSON MATTHEY (2018-01 – 2023-01)
Working part of the DSAR Team delivering CAPEX Projects across PGMS Supporting a portfolio of projects, ensuring they are delivered on schedule and within the approved budget. (EV, CPI and SPI tracking)
- Ensuring projects are ready for each stage gate, with orders in place, capturing any change and supporting EPC's.
- Work with PMs to write the estimates and forecast spend within year and throughout the project's life. Having monthly meetings with PMs to determine VOWD, reviewing future Stage Gates and capturing any changes to schedule and gaining stakeholder approval for any potential change to scope, budgets and timelines in a timely manner.
- Reporting cost variances, timesheets and reallocating costs.
- Chairing weekly progress meeting with the team, to share with stakeholders. This involves weekly update on Construction, Weekly Project Updates, Urgent Action/Issues and Engineering updates.
- Record and update Action trackers, Risk and Issue Trackers - identifying owners and prioritizing items.
- Procurement for all projects via the Ariba system and SAP. Maintain Project Costs, Accruals, Invoices, and agreeing valuation with EPC Contractors across the portfolio.
- Owner of SharePoint sites, external and Internal - Managing access, creating pages, ensuring external pages are managed with vigilance when sharing sensitive data.
- Onboarding vendors ensuring they are Avetta Compliant to work on JM COMAH sites, medicals in place, RAMS provided, and all visitors are DBS cleared.
SENIOR PMO COORDINATOR at WORLEYPARSONS (2007-04 – 2015-07)
Delivery of Jasmine Gas Field Project and Tamoil, assisting in mobilization, writing of project plans, managing schedules, forecasts and all cost related activities. Maintaining risks/issues registers, communicating progress to stakeholders and sponsors. Onboarding a team of 500+ persons, completing PRAFS, IT requirements and office layouts.
