I watched medical consultations, MDT meetings and morning briefings to broaden my understanding of the workings of teams in healthcare and how patients problems are approached.
Engineering Work Experience at ARUP (2025-07 – 2025-07)
I completed a project in designing a hypothetical sports centre, this involved using various software to model the structure, test structural integrity, model lighting to ensure it meets requirement as well as creating a pipe plan for the building, to gain an understanding of the differences between day to day work in various fields of engineering.
Summer Reading Challenge Volunteer at Library
I had to regularly complete tasks for outreach in the library, the tasks could be producing posters, social media posts, word of mouth etc.
I have worked in fast paced kitchens and worked in delivering dinners around the community. Also, I meet with elderly members of the community, to provide company, whether it be via friendly conversation or things like going for walks, cooking or shopping together.
Charity Volunteer at Various Charities
I have both organised charity events and helped execute them. This includes bake sales, showcases and handouts. Some of the causes we have raised money for are; period poverty, CAFOD, AOFAC and poverty in war torn areas.
