Spend 5 nights per week in a vehicle (tramping) carrying out multi-drop deliveries across the United Kingdom and delivering goods between amazon sites

• Adherent to company rules and regulations and always make safety a priority
• Comply with professional driver regulations like size, route destinations, weight, parking, working hours and break periods, violation and incident reporting
• Refuel vehicle and complete driver vehicle inspection reports on equipment and notify supervisor or manager of any maintenance or delivery issue encountered
• Operate HGVs in yard to move trailers to/from dock and parking locations and over public roads as required while staying on predetermined routes using approved equipment and technology
• Follow delivery schedule, track and report working hours and breaks at appropriate times, obey all applicable traffic laws and drive in accordance with weather or road conditions
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip walkaround inspections including checking tyres, lights, trailers and reporting any defects immediately
• Utilize company provided technology to follow planned routes by the help of relay application, ensuring timely delivery, and operating within legal driving hours
• Complete all necessary mandated paperwork and utilizing electronic logging devices
• Manage the coupling/uncoupling of trailers and ensure loads are secure
