▪ Assisting with Meal preparation and feeding.
▪ Assisting with Dressing and Undressing of elderly patients.
▪ Assisting with mobility and transfers, using correctly any specialized equipment provided.
▪ Assisting in the management of continence of the bladder and bowel.
▪ Following the designated care plan, established by the Care Coordinator, to support the service user with their daily living needs and carry out any specialist tasks.
▪ Administering medication as prescribed by a qualified medical practitioner under the direction of the Care Plan. Checking for any changes that have been made in dosage or additional/replacement medication.
▪ Providing emotional support for the family as part of caring team.
▪ Providing a safe environment for those who need constant supervision and help.
