As the Deputy Care Home Manager my role is to put the residents’ care and wellbeing at the heart of everything I do. I promote independence, dignity, and quality of life always in a person-centered caring, and supportive environment.
As Deputy Care Home Manager, I am responsible for ensuring that through governance and leadership, the care, health, and safety of all residents are effectively assessed, planned, implemented, and evaluated.
I am a motivational and inspirational leader, who can motivate, engage, and exercise leadership throughout the team with an open communication style. I can achieve a high standard of care by auditing, analyzing trends, and directing the care team to deliver results.
I can communicate with ease with the CQC, Social Services, and the Safeguarding teams. I can implement action plans for improvement and build a reputation of high-quality care delivery for the home.
I undertake new care packages, assessments, support planning, identification of resources and reviews to assist in maintaining the independence of individuals/ service users.
As a duty manager, I complete appropriate assessment forms, create, and maintain records, reports, and letters. I identify when there is a need requiring referral to any health care professional/Health staff for a specialist assessment and refer as necessary.
I co-ordinate and review ongoing packages of support and to provide care co-ordination role for service users as appropriate.
