Experienced pianist and music educator with over 25 years of professional experience in piano performance, music teaching and academic education. Holder of Master's degrees in Piano and Musicology and a PhD in Musicology, with extensive experience teaching music in higher and further education settings. Patient, supportive and encouraging teacher with experience working with students of different ages, abilities and levels of musical knowledge.

Particularly interested in teaching adult beginners and helping students develop confidence, practical piano skills, musical understanding and enjoyment of music. Currently a Visiting Research Fellow at the Faculty of Music, University of Cambridge.
