Young Leaders in Cricket is a program that empowers and develops the leadership skills of young individuals through cricket, providing opportunities for personal growth, team building, and community engagement. It focuses on fostering a positive impact in local communities, promoting inclusivity, and creating future leaders both on and off the field.

• Leadership - Developing the ability to lead, inspire, and motivate teams
• Communication - Strengthening verbal and non-verbal communication
• Teamwork – Enhancing collaboration and cooperation in diverse group settings
• Problem-Solving – Gaining experience in overcoming challenges and finding solutions in both cricket and community settings
• Community Engagement – Building skills in community outreach and creating positive social impact
• Event Planning – Developing organisational and management skills through organising cricket events and activities. Organised a 5k run to raise money for the cricket club where £600 was raised
• Mentorship – Developed the ability to guide and mentor others, especially younger participants. Had private 1-to-1 sessions to improve personal skills and relayed this information to younger members of the club to enhance their skills

Work Experience - Quinn London LTD - Homerton Hospital

During work experience, gained experience of work life on a building site within Homerton Hospital. Shadowed a project manager and experienced quantity surveying. This gave insight into a career within the building and construction industry.

• Had to be disciplined and organised to ensure punctual arrival every day
• Assigned various tasks throughout the days which were completed within the timeframe given
