- Monitoring and controlling Production on a shift-by-shift basis.
- Identifying people requirements for budgeted fixed workload ensuring flexibility and high levels of productivity are achieved.
- Identifying training and other resource needs to facilitate production effectively.
- Ensuring work is performed in a safe, effective manner and in accordance with the "H&S at Work Act".
- Reviewing work plans with production planners to ensure daily production targets are met as effectively and efficiently as possible.

- Chairing FLM meetings on daily basis, driving improvements across the site.

Manufacturing Graduate - Morrisons plc
(2018-09 - 2020-08)
This position included a variety of different roles with the purpose of progressing to a level 3 department manager, my key achievements were:
- Being the manager in charge over weekend shifts leading 500 colleagues.
- Successfully Leading the night shift during peak production with 500 people on site 200 of which were agency.
- Lean manufacturing training.
- 3% Increase in OEE for Carnations £2880 over two months.
- Reduction of 3 people per day = £264 per day, £63,360 over four months at Flower world.
- A reduction of 10 minutes Change over time using SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Dies) £51.33 per change over and engagement with colleagues.
- Team manager for six months including busy periods at Flower world and Thrapston Produce sites.
- Stock reduction project at Abergavenny store.
- Lead for 5* training program.
- Various problem-solving projects.
- Level 3 shift manager over Valentine's Day and Mother's Day at Flower world.
- Reduction in cost per pack in the pricing department.
- Monitoring and driving KPIs and taking action to ensure they are all met on a daily and weekly basis.

Production Planner - Morrisons plc - Flower world

This position was held for an interim period prior to starting a graduate scheme with Morrison's PLC, the roles and responsibilities included but were not limited to.
- Plan and prioritise operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
- Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand.
- Assign workers and other staff to production operations.
- Schedule shift according to production needs.
- Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget.
- Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption.
- Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)
- Prepare and submit status and performance reports.
- Coordinating production workflow for one or multiple products.
