Oliver Quinn

Following university during the covid years, I took last year as a gap year, spending time at my parents’ house in France whilst the garden was being landscaped and also spent time in Cumbria and exploring the Lake District.

Despite having a degree in French, I’ve found the job I gained the most enjoyment and satisfaction from was the year I spent working in horticulture at a small independent garden nursery.

During my time working at the nurseries, my responsibilities included preparing plants/seedlings for the upcoming seasons, potting up and propagating, dealing with deliveries, customer facing on tills and sales floor, and stock taking.

I particularly enjoyed working the busy seasonal periods such as Christmas, Mother’s Day and late Spring.

I am always eager to learn, work well independently and as part of a team.

Degree in French. A levels in French and Psychology.
