Food and Beverage Assistant at Castle Green Hotel (2024-01 – Present)
Working majority breakfast shifts at the Castle Green taught me how to thrive in fast paced environments, organization and attention to detail, dealing with a new set of customers with separate needs every day. This job gave me new experiences every shift and allowed me to develop my skills in separate roles that were needed between coworkers. This included being in charge of the buffet, making and running tea and coffee, clearing, cleaning and relaying tables.

Between the ages of 16 and 20 I regularly played gigs in my hometown of Kendal and surrounding areas, including Windermere, Lancaster and Morecambe. I was part of a popular local band and we were included in many local arts events, including the festival 'Kendal Rocks' and Kendal Pride Festival 2024. This kept me disciplined and self-driven towards improvement as I was always eager to meet new people and gain new opportunities in the industry.
This helped me gain a positive attitude towards work.
