My name is Oliver, I am a 18 year-old male who is kind and easy to talk too and have a good relationship with. I like to play Football and keep up with my fitness. I am extremely hard working, determined and can put my mind to anything to complete the task in hand.
I also enjoy working with others and collaborating to complete the set task but also have the skill set necessary to work independently. I have a deep passion for coaching and look to gain as much experience as possible and develop my capabilities and knowledge as well as my strive to succeed within the industry. I am always seeking out opportunities to help me further.
I am currently at Malcolm Arnold Academy in my second year of Sixth form completing my A Levels of Maths, Economics and BTEC Sport. I am also due to finish education in August of 2024.
After completing my Level 2 certification in Coaching (Sport and Physical activity) I’ve worked as, Head Academy coach at Pro Football academy, Activity camp leader at Northamptonshire Sport, as well as volunteering in multiple academic spaces such as being Year 7&9 football coach for Malcolm Arnold Academy as well as Cross country coach as well as Delivering Football, Rugby and Netball PE lessons to 2 DRET primary schools and being ON Chenecks FC u15s assistant manager. With all these jobs focusing on helping students aged 4-15 find and continue their passion for sport as well as helping aid their development. In all these spaces I have tried to create a warm, relaxed and fun atmosphere to create a positive and competitive learning environment in which all students/participants benefit.
Whilst studying in sixth form I have developed key relationships with Teachers at Malcolm Arnold Academy by helping support open days, coaching various sports afterschool across the academic year, helping engage more young students in physical activity, as well as being leader of the sports ambassador group in which I led a team of 15 ambassadors from year 7 all the way to year 11.
