Olivier Chioma

A recent Graduate in Neuroscience from the University of Warwick with a growing interest in operations and analytics. I'm a curious, eager, and organised individual with a high drive to absorb new information and develop on my skills. I'm comfortable working in fast-paced environments and can take initiative on lone or group projects.

With my background and STEM I'm comfortable handling large sets of data, with skills in Excel and IBM SPSS, and communicating complex topics to a diverse audience. Right now, I'm eager to supplement my critical and analytical skills, therefore i am learning SQL through free codecademy courses and - when possible- wish to undertake the LSE data analytics accelerator course.

Retail Assistant at Søstrene Grene (2024-10 – 2026-06)

• Responsible for replenishing stock, serving customers at the till and assisting customers with queries. Our small team of 10 were able to consistently meet targets to increase revenue by 10% from the previous year through efficient customers service, display techniques, rapport building with local and out-of-town customers, and strong teamwork with peers.
• Extensive knowledge of SG products was built within 2 months in preparation for the seasonal rush; great effort would be dedicated to locating products via store phone calls or in-store requests, with deep concern for customer satisfaction rate. Google reviews of the store reflected the appreciation of our customer service, and emails expressing gratitude for assistance have been sent about me personally.
• POS systems were used at a proficient level and troubleshooting them with assistance from technical support was a comfortable task, when necessary, even during busy and seasonal periods.

Crew Member at McDonalds (2021-11 – 2022-05)

• Fast-paced, customer service environment where proficiency at multiple stations was essential to deliver above-satisfactory, efficient service. Both customer-facing and food preparation roles were undertaken.
• Taking orders and taking payment simultaneously at drive thru window improved my multitasking and working under pressure capabilities. Defusing situations was another skill developed under especially busy periods.
• Collaboration between a big team was consistently successful to deliver a single order, often under time pressure.
