During my internship at Ramboll, I conducted case studies on urban ecosystem services quantification methods, evaluated climate impacts of master plans on city areas, and assessed the effectiveness of different methodologies for analyzing the climate impacts of landuse planning and project ESIA, with a focus on carbon sinks & storage. I have over 5 years work experience in a consulting firm in Nigeria where I designed plans, managed projects, conducted spatial analysis, maintained GIS databases, trained colleagues, and researched planning issues. Previously as a Planning Officer at Oyo State Physical Planning Bureau, I was involved in master plan preparation, public engagement, team management, and research.

Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Sustainable Urban Environments at Glasgow Caledonian University, I have been awarded the European Union Joint Master Scholarship and am expected to graduate with a Distinction. Through this program, I have studied in four world class institutions in UK and Europe and gained expertise in areas such as climatology, sustainable cities, urban ecology, and environmental management. Furthermore, I am a member of the Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment (IEMA) and have gained significant experience in using GIS for environmental analysis and management.
Previously, I earned a Master of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria. During this time, I was awarded the most inspiring student in 2019 and achieved a Ph.D. grade. I have also completed a Bachelor of Technology in Urban and Regional Planning from the Federal University of Technology Akure in Nigeria, where I was awarded the Overall Best Graduating Student in Planning Studio.
My research experience has equipped me with practical skills that would be useful for this position. I am currently working on a thesis on creating a best practice framework for bike-sharing initiatives in Glasgow. Additionally, I have conducted research in carbon management, urban ecology, coastal redevelopment, flood risks and management, and land suitability analysis.
During these research projects, I utilized GIS tools to create maps and visualize spatial data, and I have experience using computational fluid dynamics simulations, environmental sensors, and Envi-MET.
