Omid Christoph Burgin, Master by the University of California, Los
Angeles (UCLA), is known as a writer, recording engineer, music producer and educator. Nominated for the Elaine Krown Klein, and the Henry
Mancini Awards, received Scholarships and Fellowships (UCLA), the CNPq
Scholarship in Brazil, and a full Scholarship at the Shanghai University Film
Department with Vancouver Film School (SVFS).
Participated in congresses about musical archives, recording practices,
and Chinese music.
Society (AES) of Switzerland organized a special event for him after he was awarded Recording
Engineer of the Year in Brazil.
He works as a professional Screenwriter and Filmmaker in film productions and documentaries in China. He appeared in local newspapers for his interest in Guqin, which led to a scholarly publication on Chinese Music, a cooperation with UNESCO Chair of Transcultural Music Research.
