As a recent graduate of Cardiff University with an undergraduate degree in BSCEcon Politics and International Relations, alongside recent work experiences assisting an MP's General Election campaign, I am extremely keen on further developing my political experience within Southern Wales.
Following my recent degree in Politics and International Relations at Cardiff University, I have developed an ever-growing interest and understanding of the political landscape within Wales. Furthermore, my rich academic background in conjunction with my recent work experience assisting an MP with their General Election campaign has taught me valuable research and time-management skills within both an academic and an intense political environment. Following my academic experience, I have written numerous policy briefs addressed to Public Health Wales, MI6 and the UK Home Office, as well as researching and presenting multiple cross-border cooperation schemes.
Moreover, during my time at Cardiff University, I had the opportunity to run the sporting and commercial operations of Cardiff University Psychology Football Club due to my role as club captain. During this role, I pitched and negotiated with numerous local businesses within Southern Wales which has aided me in developing versatile inter-personal skills, whilst deepening my knowledge of the aims and values of local Welsh businesses. Furthermore, as part of this role, I managed numerous charity events, aimed at raising money and awareness for breast cancer, men's mental health and suicide prevention.
My recent work experience assisting an MP with their General Election campaign has brought me valuable experiences within the political field, where I have communicated with numerous political officials ranging from MPs to Parliamentary officials. This experience has taught me numerous skills centred around communicating with political officials and stakeholders within the constituency. This experience has greatly deepened and consolidated my passion and interest for Politics and International Relations
