An honest, hardworking and friendly person, I possess an organised and reliable attitude to any duties that I am given. I am approachable and actively listen and learn from those around me. I am comfortable using computers, but I am always happy to learn new skills.

I enjoy working to a schedule and I have excellent time keeping abilities. Being trustworthy and having a good sense of humour means that I can work on my own or as part of a team. I would like an opportunity where my current skills can be utilised, whilst willing to undergo any further training that is required.

Crew Member at McDonalds (2023-01 – 2023-12)

My duties involved all aspects of working in a kitchen, including assisting with the preparation and cooking of food, serving food as required, cleaning and tidying the kitchen area, I would ensure that I followed all of the health, safety and hygiene regulations as required and compete work on time to the correct standard of quality. I was also required to serve customers, handle cash and provide excellent customer service. The role also required me to partake in online learning and gave me the opportunity to develop my customer service skills.

Labourer at Bricklaying (2022-01 – 2023-12)

My main duties here included removing the old cement from bricks and mixing fresh cement. I was responsible for carrying around equipment on site. In addition, I had to maintain the tidiness of the site at all times in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to maintain a constant work rate were essential in order to ensure that set completion and deadlines were met, and a good level of physical fitness was also essential due to the manually demanding nature of the work.

Roofing Assistant at Local roofing company (2022-01 – 2022-12)

I worked for a local roofing company to gain some valuable work experience. This involved working at heights to remove or repair the broken tiles or slates. I was shown how to check the condition of the roof timbers and how to seal the roof joints correctly. I learned how to fit insulation as well as covering the roof with slates, tiles, sheets or cladding.
