My names Paige, I’m 20 years old and I’m looking to experience life working abroad. I visited my dad and his family in Vancouver last winter and we took a trip to Whistler and I fell in love with it. I‘d love to use my skills and knowledge to experience the world starting with somewhere I know I love.
I’ve been hrs working since I was 14 when I started in hospitality and I eventually worked my way up to a management level in a different workplace. I have experience with retail and healthcare also, so my skill set is varied
I’ve worked since I was in seconds education in hospitality. this helped me gain skills with communication and customer service, as well as time management, being presentable and reliable in the workplace. I have experience in retail also, where I worked through the pandemic. I helped meet customer needs and ensure customer safety during the peak of this time.
I furthered my work into hospitality where I became a bar supervisor. This helped me expand my knowledge in the industry, gain management skills and meet staff and customer expectations. My current job is in healthcare.
This job has given me an amazing life experience that I’m glad to have taken. I know how to communicate with people who’s needs are complex and they may struggle with the mental capacity to tell me what they need. I have lots of experience in manual handling, problem solving and ensuring safety of all who I look after.
