Hello, my name is Pamela. I am 18 years old and have recently finished A-levels. I’m now taking a gap year, before going to Liverpool University to study Anatomy next year. As part of my gap year, I am looking to gain work experience in order to build up my life and social skills before going to university.
I am a caring, gentle person who is hard-working, independent and has a proactive attitude to the work I am doing. My clear communication and listening skills aid me in working well in a busy team environment and customer service, whilst still being able to focus on any independent work that needs to be done. Within the workplace, I strive to maintain a punctual, polite and professional mindset regarding my colleagues and customers around me.
I have experience working in the hospitality industry, having worked at the Eden Café in Witney, as well as the Cherry Tree Café in Eynsham part-time, as a café assistant. My experience in these roles has allowed me to train in skills such as front-of-house till work and making basic coffee shots. Additionally, I have also gained invaluable experience in learning how to work in a team and how to support my colleagues so that the best possible customer service can be provided.
Outside the workplace, I enjoy trying new baking and cooking recipes, most recently exploring vegan and vegetarian dishes. I love reading the classics, playing the piano and acoustic guitar and being part of a boxing fitness club( West Oxon Boxing Club).
I will strive to be an open-minded and enthusiastic colleague, maintaining a personal responsibility to give the best quality of customer service I can.
