I am a chartered accountant with over 25 years of experience leading teams within the insurance sector. My core skills are in Finance & Accounts with exposure in investments, MIS, accounts, regulatory reporting, investment, compliance, financial analysis, general insurance, reinsurance and risk management. I am very well-versed in computer applications and complex IT-based systems, including designing and implementing insurance software environments.

I am, at the same time, a team leader and a team player. I have gained leadership abilities to instill high employee morale to help them achieve potential output and maintain adhesion in teams. I see myself as a creative and sensitive individual, both diligent and thorough.

• Built bespoke IT applications for business operations for booking insurance business, handling proportional and non-proportional treaties, financial accounting, receivables management, and reporting. 
• Built database environments for detailed business transactions to provide reports/dashboards to the business
• Set up operating environments for insurance entities across functions and integrated the businesses into the global reporting management teams.
• Led the finance function for many entities on the Boards and for the Regulators
• Managed all financial reporting and submissions to the regulator
• Managed taxation environment for complex global structure by carefully considering permanent establishment norms and where the business is written criteria.
