MSc Pre-Registration Physiotherapist (HCPC registration anticipated September 2026) with clinical experience spanning MSK outpatients, acute stroke, neurological and respiratory rehabilitation, community care, and vestibular assessment. These experiences have equipped me to practise safely and responsibly across a range of clinical settings. I take responsibility for my own development by completing an in-service project which was accepted for presentation at the CSP Annual Conference and self-initiating over 100 hours of vestibular training alongside my programme.
Prior to my MSc, I worked as a private MSK and sport physiotherapist in Canada, building a strong foundation in independent clinical reasoning and person-centred caseload management. I thrive in MDT environments and committed to inclusive, respectful care across diverse communities. I am drawn to rotational programmes that build breadth across acute and community settings.
Clinical Placement - MSK Private Clinic at Balance Performance Physiotherapy (2026-06 – 2026-08)
Independently managed a diverse caseload across MSK, sport, and complex presentations within a performance-focused private clinic, under the supervision of consultant physiotherapists and specialist practitioners. Gained exposure across eight specialist consultants covering spinal, vestibular, youth sport, pelvic health, and neurological physiotherapy, developing advanced clinical reasoning across a broad range of patient presentations. Refined hands-on manual therapy and soft tissue techniques through direct observation and supervised practice alongside osteopaths and specialist massage therapists.
Clinical Placement - MSK Outpatients at Manchester Royal Infirmary (2026-05 – 2026-06)
Independently managed a diverse outpatient MSK caseload including post-operative rehabilitation (joint replacements, tendon and ligament repairs, fracture fixation), acute sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Applied manual therapy, individualised exercise programmes, and psychosocial management strategies within a biopsychosocial framework; screened for red and yellow flags to guide safe clinical decision-making.
Clinical Placement - Cystic Fibrosis Outpatient at Wythenshawe Hospital (2026-01 – 2026-02)
Contributed to a split MSK and respiratory CF outpatient clinic; independently managing MSK presentations while supporting respiratory caseload management, MDT treatment planning, and patient education around long-term self-management. Delivered airway clearance techniques, breathing exercise programmes, and graded activity planning to improve fitness, symptom management, and self-efficacy in an adult CF population.
Designed and conducted an independent service evaluation project; selected to present findings at the CSP Annual Conference (Oct 2026) and WTWA Research Showcase (May 2026).
Clinical Placement - Stroke Rehabilitation at Manchester Royal Infirmary (2025-07 – 2025-08)
Assessed and treated adults post-stroke in the sub-acute phase, delivering task-specific neurological rehabilitation including gait re-education, balance training, and functional practice; progressing programmes based on goals, fatigue, and clinical risk. Collaborated within a neurology MDT contributing to goal-setting, discharge planning, and cross-disciplinary communication to support patient-centred care and safe progression through the rehabilitation pathway.
Clinical Placement - Community MSK & Elderly Care at Bolton Community Therapy (2025-09 – 2025-10)
Conducted home visits managing a diverse community caseload involving falls, frailty, post-surgical recovery, and chronic pain, primarily within the elderly population. Proactively adapted home environments and rehabilitation strategies to promote independence, functional safety, and long-term self-management, collaborating with social care and MDT colleagues where appropriate.
Vestibular & BPPV Competency Training (Self-Initiated, 2025)
Completed 80+ hours of self-directed vestibular physiotherapy training alongside the MSc programme, developing competency in BPPV assessment and repositioning manoeuvres under the supervision of a Band 8 consultant vestibular specialist.

Operated as an independent practitioner managing a private caseload, delivering manual therapy, tailored exercise rehabilitation, strength and conditioning programming, and physical modalities.
