Working within the Vehicle Quality Assurance Department on road testing and fault-finding to strict parameters and targets outlined within a standard operating procedure with individual accountability for the quality of work completed.

LGV Driver at Hoults Transport Services (1998-01 – 2008-12)

My responsibilities included the supervision of a team of 5 men, the planning and organisation of deliveries and also the daily inspection of the vehicles and basic maintenance. Other duties involved loading and unloading goods and the safe transportation of goods between destinations. I completed all relevant paperwork, used a tachograph, and planned my journeys using maps and an A to Z. I have extensive knowledge of the UK road systems and the safety aspect of driving a LGV over them.
