I am a time served multi skilled Maintenance Engineer with 24 years' experience of working within both automotive and food and beverage industries. During my career I have progressed from an apprenticeship role through to being a Maintenance Co-ordinator and then using my experience with SAP I progressed to the position of Maintenance Planner/Scheduler. I am a keen, conscientious, self-motivated and reliable person with the ability to work individually or as part of a team.

Working cross functionally in a continuous Improvement environment, I have experience of using tools such as 5S, Kaizen and various problem-solving techniques including 8D. I can easily adapt to any working environment and utilise skills that contribute positively to work situations whilst always working in a safe manner.

SAP Maintenance Planner - Plastipak - Gresford, Wrexham

Coordinate all statutory, mandatory and preventative maintenance activities at site in line with production schedules to ensure minimal unplanned downtime.

• Maintain all engineering master data within SAP including asset management, preventative maintenance and calibration schedules
• Build, maintain and develop CMMS systems to ensure planning and scheduling are streamlined and consistent, by coordinating with planning, production, and engineering departments
• Generate work orders for Planned and Reactive engineering work
• Report on key PM metrics provided by the CMMS system in line with business KPI's

Reporting to the Senior Manufacturing Engineer, responsible for a plant maintenance team of 5 technicians, plant equipment, plant facilities and co-ordinating projects, training, budget management, takt time changes and contractor activities.

• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organisation's policies and applicable laws
• Interview, hire, and train employees, plan, assign, and direct work, appraise performance, reward, and discipline employees, address complaints, and resolve problems relating to maintenance activities
• Attend production/management meetings to assist with problems occurring within and outside departmental duties to aid smooth running of plant in regards of safety, quality, and operations
• Support route cause analysis including QRQC / 8D / IPPM / COPQ
• Report out monthly plant KPI's and metrics such as MTTR/MTBF, downtime, top 5 issues and use these to aid identification of arising faults

Reporting to the Maintenance Co-ordinator, responsible for modifying equipment software and HMIs via Siemens S7 Simatic Manager and Win-cc.

• Modify electrical documentation and software backups where required following on from adjustments
• Support Maintenance Technician's where required to minimise downtime
• Maintain CMMS and provide training to Maintenance Technician's to confirm CMMS is used correctly
• Close liaison with the Manufacturing Engineer in introduction of changes which affect facilities, safety, or environment

Maintenance Technician - Johnson Controls - Ellesmere Port

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Co-ordinator, responsible for carrying out various maintenance activities to support the production of the Astra Station Wagon seating.

• Carry out TPM, machine continuous improvement, break down cover, general maintenance work/facilities and PPM
• Maintain HMI interfaces (SCADA), Fanuc robot, Siemens S7 controlled equipment, distance transducers, AGC's, DC tooling, Inverter controlled equipment, specialist fixtures bespoke to manufacturing process and shipping conveyors
• Part of the SAP implementation for Johnson Controls, help setup the maintenance CMMS system, including master data, planned maintenance, spare parts, and training for the maintenance department

Maintenance Engineer - Quinn Glass - Elton, Cheshire

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, responsible for primarily maintaining filling lines which included bottle filling machines, palletizers, conveyance etc, all machines were Siemens S7 controlled with HMI screen interfaces.

• Experience with 4-20ma instrumentation such as flow and pressure detection
• Breakdown response planned maintenance instructions and taking a pro-active approach to the machines with a direction to continually improve the process
• Set-up spare parts systems within the engineering stores so that common spares can be easily located and re-ordered, thus eliminating some downtime
