Paul Tysoe

Started employment at sixteen years old, working as a checkout operator (both main store and petrol station) at Tesco Stores Ltd (Macclesfield branch). In 1995, I moved to the Handforth Dean branch, where I became one of the first Tesco.com drivers in the country. In 2004 I began working for North West Ambulance Service (NWAS), as an Ambulance care assistant.

Subsequently progressed to Clinical Practice Mentor and then Clinical Practice Trainer. Duties included the delivery of training and performing management roles. In 2013 the contract was taken over by Ambuline (Arriva Ambulance Service) for a four-year period.

In 2017, the contract was handed back to NWAS. In 2018, the decision was taken to remove the Clinical Practice Trainer role from the business model. I then carried on my role as an Ambulance Care Assistant until August 2026.

August 2026 - I joined Prime flight as a Baggage Hall Assistant. I was informed on 29/9/26 that the company had lost the contract and all staff based in Manchester would be made redundant on 1/12/26.
