Project Manager

Please allow me to introduce myself, my name is Paul Underwood and until recently a project manager for the care home digitalisation programme employed by Milton Keynes City Council but funded by the Bedford, Luton & Milton Keynes Integrated Care System.
In my role as project manager which I found to be a very fulfilling, multi-faceted and at times a very challenging one This involved project management, designing, developing and delivering training solutions, relationship management, programme marketing, event promotion, project promotion, service support. I would even throw in being an agony aunt into the equation as well as anything else needed to help the care providers, NHS and in turn their service users that they care for, who are after all one of the most vulnerable groups of people in our society. Improving their health and wellbeing to me personally is worth its weight in gold..
I have found that during my last role I have needed to be flexible in my approach to negotiating with care providers as I have found that what works for one won’t necessarily work for another. In order to foster and grow the relationships I have built I have needed to be there to support with issues, questions, training and advice in order to enhance their knowledge plus skills base and increase the support and care they can give.
To sum up, I believe I have many transferrable skills that I can bring to any role as I’m a hardworking, dedicated, supportive individual who can communicate to stakeholders at all levels and is committed to getting the best outcome.
Thank you for your consideration.
