Overseeing a large ICT Transformation programme at Ministry of Justice (October 2009 – December 2011) with £XXm budget as the deputy Programme Director, directly in charge of the Programme Office and some of the key delivery work streams. On the Business Process Reengineering workstream worked closely with the CIO and the MoJ ICT Department Directors, to substantially improve performance of all ICT Processes and create ownership of continuous improvement of processes. On the Finance workstream led a team to better define Total Cost of Ownership of IT services.
The programme over delivered on its benefits by generating £15m of annual savings. Also held Delivery Assurance role within MoJ ICT (February 2009 – September 2009) – Logica Go2Green project. Designed, Setup and execution of an independent plan assurance process for 5 critical programmes in the eDG portfolio.
Designed and introduced Envisioning Process as a pre-project workshop-based process and ran successful pilots on Government Banking System HMCS project and JAC. Vertex runs the call centres, system and business processes to support the billing cycles for UU. Accountable for full life-cycle delivery of stage 1 (£11m fixed price fixed date) to 2.6m unmeasured water users in the UK.
Responsible for a team of 80 staff, with 6 managers reporting. Built cohesive team of 80 individuals from 3 totally different companies.
