I am enthusiastic to find a hospitality job to earn extra money and utilise my customer service skills. My colleagues and friends would describe me as dedicated, honest, reliable, outgoing, and willing to learn. Customer Services Officer at The Case Centre (2023-05 – Present)
At The Case Centre I deal with customers enquiries through email and telephone and also check their orders are correct on a daily basis so accuracy is key. As we provide educational cases for various universities and corporate businesses I also have to register educators, programme administrators and trainers as well as their organisations. Research is also part of my role at The Case Centre to promote 'the case method' to various educational organisations.
Creche Assistant at David Lloyd (2022-10 – Present)
In my role at David Lloyd Creche I look after children up to 5. This includes making sure the creche is set up safely for the children then welcoming them in making sure their parents sign them in and out. I feed, change and occupy the babies & toddlers by playing with stimulating toys and doing arts and crafts with the older ones.
Care Navigator/Receptionist at MK Village Practice (2019-10 – 2023-05)
In my role at the surgery, I am in the back office taking calls or on the reception desk dealing with patients face to face. When taking calls I answer patient enquiries, book appointments, give out test results and speak to various clinical staff. On front reception I book patients in for their appointments and assist with any enquiries they have.
I also complete various administration duties such as putting through prescriptions to the relevant doctor, process samples to be sent off to the hospital & filing. It is imperative to work efficiently so tasks are kept up to date. Patient confidentiality is essential, and I am careful to work within all of the guidelines and rules that come with handling sensitive data.
Customer Service Manager at Monarch Driving School Ltd (2017-12 – 2019-09)
As the central point of contact I liaise with customers, driving instructors and area managers to bring together the entire daily function of the driving school. My duties include handling all customer communications by telephone, email and social media to answer a range of enquiries including advice, information gathering, bookings and sales. Accurate record keeping and excellent customer service skills are very important in this role as well as a working knowledge of Windows 10, Word and Excel.
Sales Ledger Clerk and Reconciliation Clerk at Argos Retail Group Ltd (2000-01 – 2017-12)
On a daily basis I would download and reconcile accounts, ledgers, reports, and journals for over 40 Argos stores. I would use the information gathered to provide detailed analysis on outstanding balances when liaising with store managers and loan providers. Together we would resolve problems accurately and promptly.
Patience and good attention to detail were key to ensuring accuracy when processing and evaluating the input of data. Throughout the 17 years that I worked for Argos I had several differing roles and used varying computer systems. I was able to adapt to many different tasks that were assigned to me including book-keeping and general ledger.

As a young person I was keen to work and gain experience and registered with a recruitment agency at the earliest opportunity when I was 16. I would turn my hand to any work that came my way, including administration, customer service, logistics, manual labour, cleaning, production assistant and warehouse operative.
