I am a hardworking, enthusiastic about the industry, and a creative chef with a true passion for food and vast experience of working in various restaurants, large remote catering sites and a lodge. I have worked in South Africa, Mozambique, Somalia and the United Kingdom. I am highly efficient, and I have experience in pricing, ordering, managing, and handling staff rotas for large establishments.
Over the course of my career, I have gained professional experience in a variety of operations and have culinary knowledge and training in different cuisines including Seafood, Mediterranean (Portuguese, Greek, Italian), Brazilian, American and British food. I am highly skilled in putting my own stamp on creating new combinations of dishes, traditional dishes, and experimenting with new flavours while considering that I cannot compromise on originality and freshness of the food. I can work individually or in a team, and I can step up, take charge, and delegate whenever required.
