I am an outgoing, fun “good vibes” character and in my spare time, I love meditating, socialising and genuinely improving my wellbeing by staying active and travelling when I can on annual leave.
I'm passionate about health and fitness and am learning to be a yoga teacher in my free time.
I'm currently professionally employed as a Veterinary Nurse, showing compassion and empathy to all of our animals.
My background is initially sport and leisure and I am hoping that 2023 can return me to this career path, so I can train harder and inspire others along the way.
I have over 4 years experience in the leisure industry, initially starting as an Sporting Officer apprentice for the Medway Council in 2013 and leaving my position as a duty manager in 2017!
I hold a professional gym instructor qualification which I have utilised to it's full potential, I also have further experience in sales and increasing business within sports and leisure (KPI's, inventing and running promotions, managing a team) which I learn on the job and trained at the adult education centre whilst working full time for to increase my knowledge of gym management.
I did hold an NPLQ but this expired once I had left the leisure industry to train more within the mental health field to gain a deeper understanding of our psyche.
I currently work as a Veterinary Nurse, sharing empathy, working long hours and communicating with the clients that attend the practice, this has given me a lot of confidence when it comes to confrontation and taught me a lot about patience.
My most relevant education is veterinary pharmaceuticals which is veterinary medicine but previously I have gained numerous qualifications in different fields.
