I have been a civil servant (Rent Officer) with the Valuation Office Agency since July 2000. My principal roles include the collection, analysis and input of private rental sector data and making valuation decisions on Housing Benefit claims for local authorities. In the 1990’s, I worked for the London Borough of Camden assessing claims for Housing Benefit. Both roles required good IT skills and working directly with the public which I really enjoy.
I studied History and Sociology at Goldsmiths College, University of London 1981 and 1984 and received a BA Honours Degree.
