I have over twenty-two years of experience in education and 15 years in business and the military. I have a teaching qualification from Cambridge. I am extremely well travelled and am flexible, hard working and operate with the utmost integrity.
I have worked as a professional advertising photographer, Army officer, company director and Deputy Head teacher.
Most recently I have worked in China setting up Sedbergh School in Fuzhou. This was a role that meant creating the right culture and setting high standards. I was responsible for the pastoral side of the whole school and safeguarding the 600 students.
I worked at Aiglon College, Switzerland for 18 years and was a faculty head, Head of Department (Art) and deputy House parent. I planned and delivered a global conference in 2017 that was a five-day residential event held at Aiglon. It had a total budget of 750,000 CHF.
I worked briefly for IBM as a regional Security manager, responsible for the physical safety of 12 IBM locations in the South East.
I served with the 1st Regiment Royal Horse Artillery as a second in command of an AS90 Battery of Guns and deployed to Northern Ireland and Bosnia in my fours years with them.
I am a painter, I have a fully accredited HGV licence and have extensive experience driving. I was a volunteer fireman in Switzerland for 12 years and and currently a volunteer school governor for Manchester City council.
