Phillip Carson

I am currently working at AKW Global logistics as the operations Manager on nights over seeing all aspects off Transport and Warehousing. I have been working in the transport sector for nearly 20 years, before this i was the G & W national operator running several depots overnight based in Cannock Pentalver. I am looking for my next challenge/role. My skills and abilities are wide ranging from driving to controlling transport, in particular my dedication to the task in hand, prioritising workloads and using initiative.

My last three positions held are Night Operations Manager, G&W National transport operator, Nightshift Transport supervisor/Lead Planner. I have experience in managing staff and operations, training and developing along with all other operations. I am multi skilled with the ability to use FLT's and drive HGV's and have no issue turning my hand to what is needed leading by example where needed.

I have been working in transport for around 20 years and have gained my education hands on for the roles I fulfil. I am also a fire Marshall and emergency first aider. I have a current HGV class 1 licence/ Digi card and CPC card and FLT counter balance licence.
