- Taking delivery of all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders • Track, document, and resolve any discrepancies on received orders • Ensure accuracy of the facility's inventory system by updating records of physical inventory totals, receipts, adjustments, and returns.
- Keep up-to-date records of receipts, records, and withdrawals from the stockroom.
- Responsible for packing, pricing, labeling, and returning supplies • Dealing with customers and providing a high level of customer service.
- Responsible for stock rotation and coordinate the disposal of surpluses.
- Managing staff, including recruiting, training and staff rotes.
- Managing and overseeing shop operations, developing a routine for opening and closing.
- Introducing standards for security, and ensuring that trading standards and health and safety regulations are met.
- Keeping abreast of changes to the industry and market competition.
- Responsible and accountable for all aspects of money, stock control, promotions, procedures and operations.
