During my placement at RWK Goodman, I gained valuable insight into the legal profession and developed key skills in organisation, communication and attention to detail. I observed client meetings and case preparation, whilst also assisting with administrative tasks, and learned how the legal professionals manage documentation and confidentiality. I also participated in marketing events and team building activities getting the chance to converse with people on their different legal journeys.

Volunteer swim coach - Corsham Orcas swimming club - Corsham, England

As a volunteer swim coach at Corsham Orcas, I assisted in leading training sessions for younger swimmers and helping them to improve their technique, confidence and performance in the pool. This role has strengthened my leadership, teamwork skills and communication as I would have to coach swimmers of variety of ages, and then offer feedback to their parents.
Lifeguard - Olympiad leisure centre - Chippenham, England

Being a lifeguard, I am responsible for maintaining the safety of swimmers and ensuring poolside rules are followed. This role has strengthened my ability to stay calm under pressure, make quick decisions and communicate effectively with both team members and public. It has also developed my sense of responsibility, time management, and attention to detail.
