I am a compassionate and highly experienced mental health support worker with over 18 years of NHS impatient mental health experience supporting adult with acute, complex and enduring mental health conditions. Skilled in delivering person-centered care within acute, rehabilitation, dementia and psychiatric intensive care environments. I have extensive experience working alongside registered nurses, Psychiatrist, Occupational thrapist, Psychologist and Multidisciplinary team to promote recovery, independence and positive patients outcome.
I demonstrate expectise in theraputic engagements, risk management, safeguarding, crisis prevention, enhanced observation and supporting patients experiencing severe mental health illness, challenging behaviours, self -harm risks and and Psychiatric emergencies.

Deliver high quality theraputic practical support to patients within acute mental health impatient services.

Assist registered nurses in implementing individual care plan and treatment programmes
Carry out routines and enhanced observations in accordance with risk assesment and ward procedure
Monitor and report changes in patients mental state, behaviour and physical health
Support patients with personal care, nutition, moblilty and activities of daily living where required.
Promote social inclusion, independence and recovery througj meaningfulengagements and activities.
Respond effectively to incidence involving aggression, self harm or psychiatric crisis
Maintain accurate parient records and contribute to clinical documentation
Participate in ward rounds, handovers, multidisplinary meetings and patient reviews
Adhere to safeguarding, confidentiality, infection control and NHS hovernance requirement
