My name is Quinn Gibson I am currently an s6 school leaver who just finished working towards 2 Highers and an advanced higher in business. (I gained three Highers last year.)
I have always had an interest in finance and helping to resolve issues. I am proficient in my IT skills and Microsoft applications.
I also like being involved with a team. I am a team player but also excel working independently.
I will always do what is asked of me to the best of my ability. I appreciate hard work and the benefits that comes along with it.
I have had a paper round since 13, working 6 days a week, and since I was 16, I've worked part time (30 hours a week) at McDonalds. As well as maintaining good grades in school and not letting the hours interfere which has showed my drive to get in early and get started with something new.
I have learnt that hard work gets things done the proper way. I am a very practical learner, with great common sense and I am a great on the job learner so I can see in person what is asked of me.
I am very calm under pressure, and I can make informed decisions quickly and rationally. I have learnt this from working at McDonalds where you are constantly in a fast-paced environment. Also, a great attention to detail that allows me to work in a methodical approach to my jobs.
I hope I would be an asset to your company, and I promise that I will work my hardest to ensure my own, and the company’s success. I would love to learn from the best and gain valuable experience at the same time.
It would be my honour to get the chance to work for the team and be able to be an essential part of the continued success of the company.
