I am passionate about giving customers and staff high quality experiences. I always strive to learn from everything, both successes and failures, putting my best foot forwards to come up with strategies to build a business's strengths. I am looking for a job that will allow me to have a better work life balance so that I am able to spend more time of an evening with loved ones as my current job requires some late nights.

Clipper to General Manager - Clip n' Climb Stoke - Stoke

Clip n Climb was my first job and I was a General staff member when I was initially hired, since starting there I have worked my way through the ranks of General staff, Team leader, Kitchen Supervisor, Assistant Manager to where I am currently as General Manager. I look after a team of 12 to 20 staff depending on the season meaning I strive as a leader to organise and optimise a team and business. I have had to learn as I go through these positions as not everything was always in my skill set, adapting what I do know and occasionally completing more specified training.

My day to day jobs include completion of orders, creating rotas, supporting customers face to face and over emails/phones, completing transactions, up selling products. I also have to take on more specialised tasks to do with the climbing centre, equipment and café area. I learn a lot day to day through experience as I am a practical learner so do best by watching and trying.

I have dyslexia but I don't let that hold me back, I find creative and innovative ways to complete trickier tasks. I have to complete tasks that require more responsibilities such as opening and closing, cashing up at the end of a day and comple

Cubs adult leader - Scouting Movement

(2022-01 - 2025-01)

As a scouting leader I worked with a small team to care for a group of 15 Cubs, creating fun activities for them to complete for badges. I had to keep parents in the loop and inform them of what was going on with the group and fundraising events or if emergencies took place. Lastly I was required to complete training with the scouting movement to learn skills that would support the group and the scouting movement.

Volunteering is something I have done for a long time through youth work, scouting and supporting locals.

Cleaner for a local disabled couple - Self-employed

(2012-01)

For the past 12 years I have been cleaning regularly once a week for a local couple as volunteer work. This has instilled a passion for supporting others. I complete the cleaning, making sure that their apartment is neat and tidy so they can easily get around and complete a few extra tasks here and there that they may struggle with like moving heavy objects, small house maintenance and setting up Christmas decorations.
