About

Although naturally quiet, I am thoughtful, well-mannered, and reliable, with an enthusiastic and motivated approach to learning and developing new skills and experiences. I am an adaptable person with an eclectic array of interests and hobbies, including swimming, cooking, reading, and creative activities such as drawing, miniature model making, and embroidery, which all encourage my attention to detail. My past work experience has helped me develop strong communication and organisational skills.

While working at Battle Library, I improved my ability to stay organised and focused, and I regularly used computer skills that continue to support my learning. A later placement at Brighton University allowed me to expand my creativity. I learned to use Adobe Illustrator for an advertising project where I received positive feedback for my ideas and adaptability.

Since then, I have continued to grow through two part-time jobs. In my role selling scarves, I serve customers directly, developing confidence, customer service skills, and the ability to engage warmly with a wide range of people. My Sunday job at The Prince Albert pub has strengthened my teamwork and my ability to stay calm in a busy environment.

These roles have helped me become more outgoing, responsible, and comfortable working with the public. I am keen to contribute to a positive, energetic environment and would love the chance to bring my enthusiasm, my developing confidence, and my commitment to learning to a role.
