A highly motivated and hardworking individual, I am very punctual with great time keeping and give 100% effort in all aspects of a working environment and life. I can work extremely well as part of a team or as an individual. I have a great attitude and willing to throw myself into new situations to benefit my employers and myself.

My previous employment in "goods out" showcased my ability to work in a fast-paced physical environment which also required an eye for detail and error while using delivery services such as Parcel Force and Fed X.

Plastic Fabricator - Holloway Plastics LTD

(2009-01 - 2021-12)

I worked as a punctual and trusted employer for Holloway Plastics LTD for 11 years, within those 11 years I carried out various day to day duties as above with a positive working attitude. I always gave 100% every day and always aimed to succeed and please. I worked as an individual within my own tidy workstation but also happily as part of a team when needed.

Over the 11 years I had been trusted with the capability to train new employees to a high standard to do the same job roles as myself. I also formed good relationships with suppliers, customers and collegues over the years.

• Measuring various sizes/thickness and colour of acrylic sheeting using tape measure in mm/cm.
• Checking for damages including burring/ scratches and breakages or any other errors before shipping.
• Packing the items using sturdy cardboard/bubble wrap and tape also applying corner protectors and cutting to suit items sizes and needs for protection in travel.
• Using both Parcel Force and Fed X software to enter customers shipping details and parcel details to produce labels and manifests at end of the day.
• Working promptly but accurately to meet daily targets
• Having endurance and working in a physical manner due to size and weight of some of the larger and heavier parcels.
• Occasional running of machinery including acryling bending machines, lasers, and CNC

CASHIER/ CUSTOMER SERVICE DESK - FOCUS DIY AND GARDENING

(2006-01 - 2009-12)

I worked at FOCUS DIY AND GARDENING for 3 years firstly part time while studying at 6th Form. I worked within a busy and thriving environment which gave me the skills to work well within a team and good communication skills with a positive attitude. I carried out day to day duties which included serving customers using tills, shop floor work and stock control.

I had to use multitasking skills when working on the information desk which included answering queries on phone calls from customers and other stores while checking stock amounts on the database and serving customers in shop. I always gave 100% effort and worked hard start to finish.

• Serving customers with a polite and helpful manner.
• Liasing with cutomers and helping with finding what they need and giving good advice with as much as I possibly could.
• Carrying out day to day duties that included facing products on shelves, replenishing stock, tidying store, keeping the general uptake of the store to a high standard. Reporting any spillages or breakages.
• Using a good/calm telephone manner when speaking with customers.
• Working well within a team to benefit all.
