Radley Cummins

I’m a cheerful positive person, who always looks for the positive in any situation. I’m dedicated in helping others. I’m good at communicating in day-to-day life. I’m well represented and approachable.

I volunteered at Hayling Island Library (2022) for a week of work experience. I got given proper training by the person in charge of the library. I learnt, how to categorise books into certain packages which fitted the theme of the book and scanning books.

Also putting books onto shelves in alphabetical order, and I also created upcoming activities posters for the library, by using a computer and creating multiple different ones independently. I did work experience at Chichester college business shop for around two weeks (2024) I learnt, stock control, communication with customers, and reorganising the shop displays to attract customers. I volunteered at Stone Pillow Chichester (2025) for a week of work experience.

I was shown health and safety training by the person in charge. I was safely moving heavy furniture in and out of the store occasionally putting it into a van. I also did good positive communication with the other volunteers and customers.

I also took lead sometimes when appropriate. I did multiple different tasks during the work experience and learnt loads of experience.

I achieved a grade 4 in GCSE English and a Merit in English spoken language. I achieved a grade 3 in GCSE mathematics. I achieved in BTEC level 1 business a double distinction. I also achieved in uniformed public services level 2 diploma, a grade pass.
