Radley Yabut

I am a 3rd year BSc Adult Nursing student with over 2 years of experience working as a Healthcare Assistant on the hospital bank alongside my studies. This has given me valuable hands-on experience in patient care, clinical observations, medication support, and working within multidisciplinary teams. Through both my degree placements and HCA role, I have gained confidence in providing safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care in diverse settings including emergency, acute, and community environments.

My goal is to qualify as a Registered Nurse and progress towards advanced practice, specialising in acute and emergency care.

I have over 2 years of experience as a Healthcare Assistant on the hospital bank, providing direct patient care across a range of wards and departments. My role has involved assisting with personal care, clinical observations, supporting mobility, infection control, and working within multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe and compassionate care. Alongside this, I have gained extensive experience through nursing placements in emergency, acute, and community settings, developing skills in patient assessment, medication management, and evidence-based practice.

Currently in my 3rd year of study, working towards NMC registration as a qualified Adult Nurse. My course has provided in-depth knowledge of pathophysiology, clinical skills, medicines management, and holistic patient care. I have completed multiple placements across hospital and community settings, enhancing my practical skills and ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
