I am an experienced housekeeper based out of Bangor, Maine, and I am more than willing to commute to take a position. I am a reliable employee, I am always on time and always prepared. During tax season (Late November-April) I work as a tax preparer, and I take on seasonal housekeeping positions during tourist season (May-October).

Job responsibilities included turning over rooms between guests as well as providing service to guests in-house. Expectations were to clean anywhere from 10 to 20 rooms in a shift, rooms consisting of a bedroom and living area and a bathroom. A typical turnover involved stripping and changing used linens, sanitizing all surfaces, stocking amenities, and cleaning several types of flooring.

I was also responsible for more thorough cleanings in rooms that were especially soiled, and monthly deep cleanings. Secondary job functions included laundry service (stain treatment, washing, drying and folding) and maintaining the cleanliness of common areas. I was entrusted with room inspections and AM/PM vacancy checks

Captain Nickels Inn, Searsport ME — LEAD HOUSE ATTENDANT

April 2025 - Present

Housekeeping at a 4-star bed and breakfast. Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing ten unique guest rooms, including 2 suites, and common areas including parlors, dining rooms, staircases, kitchens, hallways, a ballroom and a tavern. Standard is up to 4 guest rooms in a shift as well as the daily completion of a common area list, and any laundry that results from turning over rooms.

My position also included preparation of guest rooms before arrival, occasionally serving breakfast and cleaning dishes. In addition, as lead house attendant, I am responsible for training staff and checking my team’s work to ensure it is up to standard, as well as coordinating with our scheduling team to properly staff the inn for the coming days.
