Rafael Mendes

I have a genuine passion in working with and around helping children. I have 5 years of experience in the field working and leading activities with children across all ages, social backgrounds and challenges including SEN and SEMH. I honestly just like making a positive difference in their lives.

I have worked as a behaviour specialist/1:1 in a school setting with children with SEN and well as more challenging roles such SEMH. The ages I have covered range from 6 to 17.

Although I have worked with children of different social backgrounds, often times my focus has been with children from a poorer disadvantaged background.

I have also worked as a counsellor as well as a Division Head for Camp America overseeing staff and children alike.

I went to university for a BA in Film and Media despite the fact I had studied sports development and coaching at college level.
