Rafaela Tellaeche

I want to dedicate my life to the art sphere and focus on the art market: I am really interested and passionate about its fluctuations and the contemporary landscape that shapes it. I have very strong work ethics, am disciplined, organized and resourceful. I am a good leader and I tend to mark a pace on a workspace, creating a very positive environment with my peers.

I am an artist from Mexico City where I have had two solo shows and various collective exhibitions. My practice is primarily based on drawing, printmaking and embroidery. I have also worked in an artist's foundation where I was Assistant Studio Manager.

I was responsible of general administrative bookkeeping, client liaison, authenticity certificates, archiving, art piece handling, delivery, packaging, shipping and exhibiting. I was particularly good at client rapport because I am a warm, friendly person that offers a personalized experience in sales: I speak four languages (English, French, Spanish and Italian) and I am able to connect with international clients in a specific way. I am also experienced in art fairs with my own work and other artist’s.

I am very good at expressing myself and explaining the conceptual background of a piece or an exhibition. I have experience with Excel, Microsoft Office and Adobe Illustrator, and if I were to lack experience, I would work to better myself.

I did my bachelor's degree in Mexico City at the Escuela Nacional de Pintura, Escultura y Grabado “La Esmeralda”, the best fine art university in Latin America. I also hold a Masters in Contemporary Art Practice from Royal College of Art, the best art university in the world.
