Rahi Jadhav

As a recent graduate in urban design, I bring a fresh perspective to every project, utilising design software to produce high-quality visualisations and a deep understanding of urban planning principles to create functional and sustainable spaces. As an individual strongly passionate about strategically planned spaces, I believe in developing more livable and vibrant environments that contribute to the betterment of communities. In my free time I like to sketch cityscapes digitally on procreate.

My master's dissertation focused on improving urban streets in the Indian context, utilizing landscaping methods coordinated with small built forms to achieve improved mobility. The research included an area character analysis, circulating questionnaires, and conducting panel interviews.

My experience working as an architectural designer at Lloyd Harden Designs Ltd. has given me the opportunity to work on leisure and residential projects, focusing on planning applications, design access statements, surveys, and client consultations. I have also worked on UK-based residential and institutional projects at a multi-disciplinary firm in India as a junior architect with NBBJ's London team, using Revit software.

In my final year internship program at Ingrain Architects, I was part of the team working on the largest high-density urban settlement project in Mumbai, covering over 110 acres of area, consisted of 100 residential high-rise towers. My role was to assist in site feasibility calculations, conceptual site development and graphical presentations. My passion for participating in large-scale master planning projects stems from my previous work at local architectural firms during summer breaks in college.
