Remote working my role entailed providing individual support to students experiencing mental health distress. My responsibilities included mental health triage, risk assessment, signposting, Mental health and wellbeing, anxiety management techniques, safety planning, and referrals to internal and external services. Delivering follow-up care, manage complex cases, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including GPs and NHS services.
The role involved maintaining confidentiality, accurate record-keeping, and working with students to promote self-help. Offered CBT and advise around wellbeing. Utilising GAD 7 and PHQ 9 ass measuring tools to assess level of anxiety and depression.
Wellbeing mental health practitioner - Bipolar lift - Nottingham

Assessing individuals with Bipolar disorder. Utilising low intensity CBT, Solution Focus and a Person-Centred Approach. Working with individuals empowering them to understand their illness, looking at coping strategies, strengths, weakness, support network, meds compliant, psycho social education, welfare rights, PIP, accommodation advice.
Working with individuals holistically, mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally. Offering information and guidance on mindfulness, nutrition, sleep hygiene, safeguarding and signposting. My role also assists those suffering from social inclusion by facilitating day trips, boat rides, walking group and monthly events.
Specialist Student Mental Health Advisor - HE Wellbeing - Nottingham
