I am a UK-trained medical doctor with a strong commitment to safe, ethical practice and continuous professional development. I am currently focused on remediation, reflective learning, and actively working towards returning to clinical practice with confidence and integrity.
I completed my medical training in the UK, including foundation training at Manchester Royal Infirmary, where I gained experience across specialties such as orthopaedics, colorectal surgery, and gastroenterology. I have also had clinical exposure in respiratory medicine and oncology through attachments involving ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and multidisciplinary team meetings. In addition, I have worked in international settings, including infectious diseases at Aga Khan University Hospital, which broadened my clinical perspective.
More recently, I have been engaged in medico-legal work and focused on structured professional development and remediation, with an emphasis on reflective learning, communication, and maintaining clinical knowledge.
I completed my medical degree (MBChB) at the University of Manchester, alongside a BMedSci (Hons). I have also undertaken a Postgraduate Certificate in Public Health and a Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (DTMH) from the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. My education has provided a strong foundation in both clinical medicine and global/public health, which I continue to build on through ongoing professional development.
