I am Ramanpreet Kaur, a passionate and driven individual currently pursuing my LPC LLM at the University of Law, London, building on the foundation of my LLB (Hons) degree from the University of Roehampton, where I graduated with a 2:1. I’ve had the privilege of gaining hands-on legal experience, from volunteering at Citizen Advice Harrow, where I assist clients with urgent legal issues, to completing work placements at M-R Solicitors LLP, where I contributed to British citizenship applications and developed my skills in document management.
I am continuously seeking opportunities to grow, as seen through my participation in various virtual law programs, including those with Legal Cheek and IEUK. Alongside my legal career, I’ve also developed customer service expertise working part-time at Snack Fresh Ltd for over two years, where I honed my communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Fluent in four languages—English, Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu—and with a strong interest in continuous learning, I am enthusiastic about pursuing a successful career in law while continuing to grow both personally and professionally.
I have diverse professional experience across legal and non-legal fields. In the legal sector, I’ve volunteered with Citizen Advice Harrow, providing crucial legal advice on issues such as domestic abuse, housing, and benefits. I also completed work experience at M-R Solicitors LLP, where I assisted with British citizenship applications and document management, using platforms like LEAP cloud.
Additionally, I gained early exposure to legal work during a two-week placement at Law Fair Solicitor Firm, improving my organizational and communication skills.
Beyond the legal field, I worked for over two years as a Customer Service Representative at Snack Fresh Ltd, where I handled customer inquiries, managed deliveries, and maintained organized records, further enhancing my communication, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
I am currently pursuing an LPC LLM at the University of Law, London, with a focus on advancing my legal practice skills. I hold an LLB (Hons) degree from the University of Roehampton, where I graduated with a 2:1. Additionally, I completed A-Levels at Barnhill Community High School, which included a LIBF Level 3 Diploma in Financial Studies and BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificates in Business and Health & Social Care, providing me with a strong interdisciplinary foundation.
